Director’s Greetings

Welcome to the World of measurements with NIMT!

It is my great honor to extend my warmest greetings to all distinguished participants, speakers, and guests at the 2nd International Conference on Measurement Sciences and Applications (IMSA 2026). On behalf of the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand), I am delighted to welcome you to this significant international forum.

The theme of this year’s conference, “Measurements for Efficiency, Innovation and Sustainability”, reflects the pivotal role that measurement plays in shaping our collective future. Accurate and reliable measurements are not only fundamental to scientific discovery and industrial progress, but also essential to achieving broader global goals—ranging from clean energy and environmental protection to healthcare, digital transformation, and sustainable economies.

Through this theme, IMSA 2026 emphasizes how measurement science drives innovation, enabling breakthroughs in advanced technologies, and how it supports sustainable development, ensuring that such progress benefits society responsibly and equitably.

I hold great expectations that this conference will foster meaningful dialogue, spark new research collaborations, and strengthen the global metrology community. By bringing together experts from academia, industry, and policy, IMSA 2026 offers a unique opportunity to exchange insights and develop solutions that will address both current and emerging challenges.

I wish all participants a fruitful and inspiring conference. May IMSA 2026 be a catalyst for advancing measurement science and for building a more innovative and sustainable future for all.

Pol.Lt.Gen. Pornchai Suteerakune
